RUDYS STUDIO IS RUNNING A SPECIAL ON RECORDING TIME!
Because of the hard times everybody is facing, i have decided to hook some people up! I am offering blocks of studio time -10 hours for $350 - thats only $35!!!! - 10 hour blocks must be booked, that is the only catch!
Otherwise, I have also lowered my hourly rate to $40 an hour for a while until the economy catches up! This includes recording, mixing, producing and mastering. Everything is $40 an hour! The band must buy a hardrive- firewire 400 compatible -- contact the studio for details! Around $140.

Taking on new students!
Mark Obermeyer is teaching a lot more these days and is having a great time sharing riffs.
"I specialize in playing lead guitar and playing most types of metal. I am educated in most syles and know my theory. I specialize in playing in the styles of Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen, Blues Saraceno, Ritchie Kotzen, Vinnie Moore, Marty Friedman, etc. I can teach you how to improvise in the right key, play scales (modes), chords, arpeggios, songs, technique, recording techniques, ear and vocal training, and general shredding! I have over 25 years experience!"
Prices are $50 an hour, $30 for half an hour. Email if interested.

I have just finished mixing the new Maximum Groove Machine album. Look out for it - it rocks! I am starting the new Samsons Pill record this weekend and I am also starting to mix the new Devil Got Five and the new Ransom albums! These are all great bands and I am very grateful that they have trusted me to help them with their music! Colorado bands rule!

Rudy passed away last night. Rudy was the Dachshund that the Studio was named after. He was 11 years old and will be missed. He had so many friends that I thought it was important to announce. Thank you, Mark Obermeyer

Paul Vee Memorial Tribute show - Angellic Rage, Corruption and Horse
Paul Vee memorial show-Aug. 16th Buffalo Rose
Because we lost our dear friend Paul Vee, There will be a memorial show on Sat. August 16th at the Buffalo Rose in Golden. 21+. Paul was brutally murdered in Las Vegas in a liqour store last month. Rest in Peace Paul.
This will be the largest reuniting of the people from the Denver music scene in years-if anyone could bring all of these old friends together again it would be Paul.
Angellic Rage will be reuniting for the evening as well as my former band Corruption. The Rage will be playing songs spanning their history, and Corruption will be playing songs written between 1985 and 1992. Corruption was never really planning a reunion, but because Angellic Rage asked us to play we could never say no to our friends, it really is an honor,and has been really nice finding old friends again! Horse will be opening the show! Hopefully, we will see you there!

Paul V. Stitt RIP
We lost a great friend and veteran of the Denver music scene on tuesday 7/8/08. Paul V. was shot and killed while he was working at a liqour store in Las Vegas. It is such a tragedy -- he will truely be missed! He was the amazing frontman and singer of the band Angellic Rage, and a close friend of Rudys Studio. Many of my friends and I have grown up in the Denver scene with Paul V. A very sad day for Denver! -- and the world for that matter.

No Fair Fights' songs also appeared on "The Riches."
Cold Blooded Collapse has a distribution deal through Universal Music, and is getting major label interest!
We just finished mixing and mastering the new Sublingual record, which will be released later this year.
We're currently mixing Come Forth By Day's new record, also scheduled for release later this year.

We have just finished recording a new CD for the Denver based band - Majestic, featuring world famous violinist Eugene Fodor. This cd will be released through The Attack Group and will have distribution through Universal. We also had the honor of having Mark S. Berry produce this project at Rudys Studio. Mark S. Berry has over 35 gold and platinum credits to his name and is the head of "The Attack Group," based in Ontario Canada. It was a great experience and the CD turned out great!
In the next few weeks we should also be wrapping up the new Ransom CD. It's gonna rock!!!
Congratulations to Cold Blooded Collapse for signing a deal with The Attack Group. They now have a distribution deal through Universal and will be shopped internationally!

If you have a project that you have done on your own or in a studio that did not master it, bring it to Rudys Studio! We now do all class A mastering, using top of the line analog gear to make your mixes huge, upfront and LOUD!!! Mastering is $70 a song! Studio work is $75 an hour!
